My name is Elizabeth James and I am a Billing Specialist with Lotus Recovery Center. Born and raised in Johnsonville, SC, dentistry was my first passion and introduction to the medical field; aside from actual dental assisting, battling for the insurance benefits my patients deserved lit a fire in me.
After 14 years in dental, a new opportunity for growth presented itself where I could further aid patients in changing their lives for the better. I enjoy using the skills I’ve acquired to help patients navigate the insurance systems to aid in maximizing their experiences and outcome. Working closely with all of the great people in our organization, Lotus feels more like family than business, and we strive to be a place of hope with open hearts and clear minds.
When I’m not in the office, I love to spend time with my family going to the river and the mountains, watch all of the baseball (Go Braves), watch my Georgia Bulldogs play football and lounge around in my yard with my two cats, Winnie and Lucy!
